Inspired originally by the music and legacy of Texas hill country icon, Jerry Jeff Walker, the musical union of Whiskey Toast is earning the admiration of honky-tonk music fans throughout the Boise area. Their "beyond bojangles" tribute, and overall mix of country-folk-rock tunes makes them a fresh new face on what's sometimes now called the Americana music scene.  Comprised of Russ Pfeifer (keyboards/vocals), Krista Oberlindacher (bass/vocals) and Allen Powers (guitar/vocals), with an occasional side of guest "rogue jammers," the artists behind Whiskey Toast have earned their reputation as a fun and talented band to look out for.  Back from helping to open their second annual Jerry Jeff Walker music festival in San Pedro, Belize, in January 2019, Whiskey Toast can be found around the Treasure Valley and McCall areas "just gettin' by on gettin' by!"
